Downtown Action Plan

A parallel effort, the Downtown Action Plan, was developed by the DowntownDC and Golden Triangle Business Improvement Districts, supported in part by the Federal City Council and the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development. Streets for People

The Downtown Public Realm Plan builds on the success of the Streets for People Grant Program which brought over 140,000 people to Downtown streets, sidewalks, parks, and plazas with over 150 events. Check out a video recap of Streets for People programing.
