Washington, DC – The Historic Preservation Office is now accepting nominations for the 2019 District of Columbia Awards for Excellence in Historic Preservation. The awards ceremony will take place in May as part of National Historic Preservation Month.
The awards celebrate outstanding accomplishments in historic preservation design and rehabilitation, education, stewardship, archaeology, and volunteerism and community involvement. Nominations may be submitted by any interested individuals, project sponsors or community organizations.
Applications are available online at https://planning.dc.gov/page/preservation-awards . Nominations are due Friday, November 16, 2018 at 5 pm.
