(Washington, DC) – On Thursday, September 24 at 11 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser will release the District’s master plan for the RFK campus redevelopment. The master plan envisions a campus of connected, flexible districts with housing, parks, recreation and entertainment that will create activity on the campus on game days and every day.

From February 2025 to August 2026, the District conducted a broad outreach process that engaged close to 1,800 community members on the future of the RFK campus. The Office of Planning and agency partners held over 30 engagement events throughout the planning process to speak with a broad range of stakeholders. The plan will be submitted to the Council on Thursday, September 24.
