Day of Archaeology Festival
Join the DC Historic Preservation Office for the 8th annual Day of Archaeology Festival, hosted by Archaeology in the Community, a District-based nonprofit educational organization. Meet local archaeologists in person and learn about the science and art of doing archaeology, volunteer opportunities and local history. There will be activities for all ages and visitors will have an opportunity to enjoy the Dumbarton House Museum, music, and face painting. Food trucks will be on site as well.
