AGENDA
DESIGN GUIDELINES
Preservation and Design Guidelines for Basement Entrances and Windows. Final consideration.
The HPRB voted unanimously (7-0) to adopt the guideline as reflective of their policies and principles for the treatment of basement entrances and windows.

The Historic Preservation Review Board adopted the Multiple Property Document: American University Park in Washington, D.C.: Its Early Houses, Pre-Civil War to 1911, and recommended that it be forwarded to the National Register of Historic Places. Vote: 7-0.
The Historic Preservation Review Board designated the above-listed properties as historic landmarks in the DC Inventory of Historic Sites and recommended that the applications be forwarded to the National Park Service for listing in the National Register of Historic Places. Vote: 7-0.
CAPITOL HILL HISTORIC DISTRICT
224 7th Street, SE, HPA #11-186, concept/one-story rear addition and storefront.
The Board approved the concept as consistent with the purposes of the preservation act and delegated final approval to staff. Vote: 7-0.
MOUNT VERNON TRIANGLE HISTORIC DISTRICT
450 K Street, NW, HPA #11-143, concept/thirteen-story residential building on vacant lot.
The Board approved the staff recommendation and supported the overall plan and materials and requested further development, considering relationships with the rest of the block, addressing the projecting balconies and studying the masonry base. Vote: 7-0.
U STREET HISTORIC DISTRICT
933 Westminster Street, NW, HPA #11-131, concept/new basement areaway and stair.
The project was withdrawn at the request of the applicant.
