Joel Lawson holds an undergraduate degree in architecture and a master’s degree in Community and Regional Planning. He has worked in both the private and public sectors, at both the local and federal levels, and has experience in development review, long range and community planning, historic preservation, and the drafting of zoning provisions. He has been with the DC Office of Planning since 2002.
