(Washington, DC) - To kick start implementation efforts for the Neighborhood Sustainability Indicators Project (NSIP) Pilot, OP, with the support of the University of the District of Columbia (UDC) and the District Department of the Environment (DDOE), is announcing a Green your Home Expo on Saturday, October 16th from 10am to 2pm. The Expo will take place on the front plaza of the UDC campus at 4200 Connecticut Avenue, NW. The first Green your Home Expo was held in September 2009 and was so successful that OP and its partners decided to repeat the event.  The Expo brings private and non-profit vendors of green services to the residents and businesses of the NSIP Pilot area so that they can be empowered to make the necessary improvements and changes to their homes and community to meet the goals of the Pilot study.
