Mayor Bowser to Release First-Ever DC Cultural Plan to Invest in and Strengthen Local Art Communities

(Washington, DC) – On Thursday, April 4, at 6 pm, Mayor Muriel Bowser will release the District’s first-ever Cultural Plan. The Cultural Plan lays out a vision with specific policy and investment recommendations to strengthen the people, places, communities, and ideas that define Washington, DC and to support a diverse and inclusive art culture.

The event will feature a performance by GRAMMY-nominated artist Christylez Bacon and an interactive live-art installation by Delé Akerejah of The Dopamine Clinic.
