The Department of Housing and Community Development, the Office of Planning and Advisory Neighborhood Commission 5B09 are organizing the Ivy City Day and Alexander Crummell School Cleanup on Saturday, June 26, 2010, from 9 am to 1 pm. The day will be filled with activities for all ages, including a cleanup and beautification project, art project and music. Refreshments will be provided. Residents can also learn about efforts to revitalize the historic Alexander Crummell School and the numerous planned housing developments in the neighborhood.
