The public is encouraged to register for a virtual training session at calendly.com/redistricting. A reference guide and video tutorial with instructions for how to use the online tool are also available.
If you prefer using your own tool, you can access the necessary demographic layers and data at planning.dc.gov/publication/2020-census-information-and-data where the 2020 Census geographies with data are posted.
All plans received by November 5, 2021 will be reviewed by the Subcommittee on Redistricting prior to their drawing of the new boundaries.
