Minwuyelet M. Azimeraw Joined the Office of Planning in February 2008, as a Demographic Specialist for the State Data Center. He is responsible for planning and coordinating the collection, processing, and verification of socioeconomic and demographic data.

Prior to joining the DC Office of Planning, he worked as a Socio-Economic Planning expert for Addis Ababa City Administration Planning and Economic Development Bureau, Ethiopia. He has also worked as a Project Coordinator for Wonji Catholic Church Development Office under Ethiopian Catholic Church Social and Development Office of Meki, Ethiopia. Mr. Azimeraw holds a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and Environmental Studies from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia.
