Alemayehu Anna focuses on system and database administration, and also application development with particular emphasis on Geographic Information System (GIS) data and spatial applications. Prior to joining DC Office of Planning, Mr. Anna worked in the private sector as GIS & Remote Sensing specialist and System Administrator for Tecsult International Ltd. and International Livestock Research Institute. He holds a Master's degree in Applied Remote Sensing from Cranfield University, the UK and postgraduate diploma in Computer Science from HiLCoE School of Computer Science and Technology, Ethiopia.
