What's Happening at the DC Office of Planning?

Tuesday, March 31, 2020

In a matter of weeks our lives have completely changed. Our city – and the entire world – is a very different place. As we attempt to grapple with this ever-evolving situation and navigate through this time of uncertainty, we must remember that we all have a role to play in flattening the curve. For most of us, it is simply staying at home.

We have modified our operations while continuing to move forward with the Comprehensive Plan, the 2020 Census, and other OP priorities; while also pitching in to the DC Government’s coronavirus (COVID-19) response efforts. We went online and found new ways to keep critical services and programs operating. All OP staff are available via email and phone. More information about our modified operations is included below.

For the latest information on the District Government’s response to COVID-19, visit coronavirus.dc.gov. Please feel free to share our newsletter with others, who can sign up here. In addition, you can follow our work on Twitter at @OPinDC.

Stay home, stay safe, and remember: we are all in this together, and we will get through this together.

Sincerely,

Andrew Trueblood

Director, DC Office of Planning
