Edward Estes joined the Office of Planning in December 2006. With 28 years of experience in architecture, planning, and program management, Mr. Estes serves as an urban designer providing urban design coordination and planning for various neighborhood and redevelopment projects for the Office of Planning. In addition, Mr. Estes manages the review of Chinatown Design Review proposals for the Chinatown Design Review Procedures Program. Prior to joining the Office of Planning, he embarked on a very exciting architecture career. Mr. Estes’ involvement in large scale projects located throughout the United States has developed his strength in architectural design management and urban planning. Mr. Estes' design experience placed him on a variety of projects including stadiums, mixed-use developments, corporate office buildings and headquarters, government and judicial centers, mass-transit stations, entertainment venues and retail malls and power centers.
