Poplar Point

A Signature Cultural Park Framed by a Residential Crescent with Commanding Views of the Capitol

Poplar Point will feature a 60-acre waterfront cultural park serving as a green gateway to the Anacostia River and RiverParks. Featuring memorial gardens, a museum and an amphitheater, Poplar Point will showcase state-of-the-art ecological restoration, as well as cultural, historical and community attractions. Easily accessible by transit and with strong connections to commercial activity on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, residential development at Poplar Point will help reconnect the historic Anacostia neighborhood back to the river after which it was named.
