News Release for Immediate Release  April 8, 2005  Interim Director Testifies at Fiscal Year 2006 Budget Hearing    (Washington, DC) On April 6, 2005, Interim Director Ellen McCarthy testified at the Council of the District of Columbia's hearing on Mayor Anthony A. Williams's FY 2006 budget request for the Office of Planning (OP).   Several public witnesses testified, and were followed by Tersh Boasberg, Chair, Historic Preservation Review Board.  Ms. McCarthy was the last to testify at the hearing.  She discussed the FY 2006 budget for OP, which includes requests for local, federal, and capital funds.   To read the testimony, please select here*.
