Ms. Kasongo comes to OP from the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission in Prince George’s County, Maryland where she worked as a Senior Planner in the zoning section of the Development Review Division. Prior to working in Prince George’s County, Ms. Kasongo worked as a consultant for 5 years with Woolpert LLC, an architectural/engineering firm in Arlington, Virginia. Her work with Woolpert involved military campus planning, space utilization assessments, and urban design framework studies. Evelyn holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in Architecture and a Master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati in Community Planning with a specialization in urban design. Ms. Kasongo is a member of the American Planning Association.
