DC Inventory of Historic Sites Index and Maps 
 
This list contains all properties protected by the District of Columbia Historic Preservation Law as of the date listed. The DC Inventory of Historic Sites is the official list of historic properties maintained by the government of the District of Columbia. These properties are deemed worthy of recognition and protection for their contribution to the cultural heritage of the city. This list is updated as additional properties and sites are nominated to the Inventory of Historic Sites.
