Colleen Willger, Associate Director for Neighborhood Planning, directs the production of all community and place-based planning work and initiatives.  Ms. Willger joined the DC Office of Planning in 2014 as the Senior Neighborhood Planner for Ward 5.  Prior to joining OP, Colleen worked for eight years as an urban planner for the City of Alexandria, Virginia. Colleen holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Community and Regional Planning with an emphasis in Community Design and Development from Iowa State University's College of Design. Colleen is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional with a specialty in Building Design and Construction (LEED AP BD+C).
