Historic Resource Surveys


Historic Resource Surveys consist of survey information in the following categories: neighborhoods, themes, archaeology, and research tools. A list of existing surveys and planning documents on file with the Historic Preservation Office is listed in the accompanying publication. Survey records are broken down by Surveys, National Register Multiple Property Documentation, Historic Resource Thematic Studies, Historic Resource Master Plans, General Planning Documents, and Federal Preservation and Planning.

Individuals interested in reviewing the files should visit to the HPO Office, 1100 4th Street, SW, Suite #E650, Washington, DC 20024 adjacent to the Waterfront/SEU Metro. Please call (202) 442-7600 or send an email to: historic.preservation@dc.gov to schedule the visit.
