Councilmember Tommy Wells, Chairperson of the Committee on Libraries, Parks, Recreation, and Planning, will hold a public hearing on PR 19-659, the "Maryland Avenue SW Small Area Action Plan Approval Resolution of 2012". This resolution is for Council approval of the DC Office of Planning’s (OP) Maryland Avenue SW Small Area Plan. OP finalized the Maryland Avenue SW Plan in March 2012. The plan analyzed the Maryland Avenue SW corridor between 6th and 12th Streets, SW, and makes recommendations on redevelopment opportunities, open space and infrastructure.
The public hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at 2:00 pm in Room 412 of the John A. Wilson Building, 1350 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW.
